How to get involved!
If anyone is interested in getting involved in any aspect of amateur theatre
we would be pleased to meet them.
No experience is necessary, just a willingness to have a go!
We meeting for our regular Friday evening rehearsal/meeting at 7.30- 10.00pm
in room 5 Merchistoun Hall, Portsmouth Road, Horndean.
We will be putting up a display in Waterlooville Library during November
so we are not just on the look out for acting and technical skills, but poster-making, photography etc will also come in handy.
HATS received a grant of £300 from East Hants District Council to support our production of Hedda Gabler in September 2004 and we were also honoured to receive an award from NODA (National Operatic and Dramatic Association) for our stage scenery and set on Out of Order performed in April 2005.
We are currently seeking new members and if you are over 16 and would like to be involved in any aspect of the production of a play, we'd love to hear from you.
We'd like to hear from people who are willing to try their hand at:
- Acting
- Lighting
- Sound effects
- Stage management
- Set design & building
- Making costumes
- Selling tickets
- Designing posters
